So there’s a few things on my mind and instead of saving it all up for a mega post, I’m just gonna tell you straight out:

I’ve had a listen to Josh’s new album, Singing Ax and it is lovely. I’ll have more to say about it after the show. It needs to soak in a bit more, but suffice it to say, it’s much in the vein of Year in the Kingdom. Love it! …. keep an eye on Western Vinyl’s site for release of the new one, scheduled for September 14. I’ve no idea what’s happened to his MySpace page, at the moment it’s being inhabited by Robert Downey Jr?

2. Songs From The Shed has some majorly good stuff up lately and you all should go have a peek! This week is Mantler! He’s odd, delightful and I was tickled, despite having a cranky day and wanting to wallow in a whole lot of Frank Black.
