Michele Ari came to me via Windy City Rock, a fantastic Chicago Blog that you should have on your radar. Frank describes her music as “mainly influenced by old school new wave, punk, college rock” and yeah, I can see that. But what I’m also hearing here are great lyrics sung by a woman whose style and phrasing reveal true singer/songwriter talent.
