Jihae tempts us with “My Love” for her upcoming album, Fire Burning Rain (July, 2010)

No darlings, it’s not a remake of that “My Love,” it’s an entirely new song… dark and sultry, and beautifully sung by this South Korean native, now settled in NYC. I admit, I’d not heard of Jihae until now. I’m glad I got this in my inbox. Jihae’s husky voice is intriguing, her varied style (just visit that MySpace page!) is refreshing, and her upcoming album promises to be inspired brilliance, released on her own label.
