Jogger: This Great Pressure, coming Oct. 27, “In America”

joggerOk, I’m really trying to not make crazy, rash statements here but I LOVE this album so much that I’m afraid of how it might skew my end of year lists. I’ve had it about two weeks now, it’s not been out of rotation since and I think I’ve tweeted about it every day for the past week. Seriously, it’s the most interesting album I’ve heard in a long time. Each track is odd, intriguing, different, and encapsulates some sort of sound that I would have never anticipated. I want to give you a more thourgh run down on this, and I will, closer to its release date. But for now, hear “In America” and keep it on, don’t stop after the first few seconds just because you think you know what it’s about. It’s the least interesting one, I swear they are afraid of this album out there in whatever place that makes these decisions, because this is NOTHING compared to the rest of it, darlings! You are gonna go nuts over This Great Pressure and all its indie/pop/8-bit/electronica/experimental goodness.
