Rachael McShane: No Man’s Fool, “The Gardner”

rachaelmcshaneAlso in Bellowhead, Rachel McShane has ventured out on her own a bit and released her debut solo record, No Man’s Fool just yesterday. “The Gardener” reveals how that sweet, clear voice of hers is so perfectly set off by these traditional folk songs. As it unravels into more of an updated, modern folk style, I love this track a little less, but I love her voice just as much or more. It’s a pretty start to your day, nonetheless, xoxo
