"i'm a pilot" is an awesomely wonderful song, and i love the rest of the album, too. each time i listen to it i hear new things and i love that in an album. i think the lead singer's voice is reminiscent of david byrne, and i love the way he sort of let's it flop around. he seems very relaxed to me. but i hear you about how the petty things can turn you off about a band/artist. i'm very particular when it comes to vocals and if i don't like the way somebody sings, well, i pretty much can't listen to the music at all. dear, dear tart, you haven’t been reading my blog regularly enough! i’ve been singing the praises of this band for a while now. “i’m a pilot” is an awesomely wonderful song, and i love the rest of the album, too. each time i listen to it i hear new things and i love that in an album.
