War Tapes: The Continental Divide, out 05/26

War Tapes, a band out of LA is set to hit the US and Canada hard with a tour to support their new album The Continental Divide. I’ve been watching the progress of this group for a few weeks, waiting eagerly for tour details so I could share them with you. They’ve got a really interesting sound, a strong baritone vocal backed by great, tight harmonies and a pounding, indie beat. I’m reminded, in quite a nice way, of the Psychedelic Furs, or The Cure, Cold and a bit of just plain good post-punk rock n roll. This album promises to be packed full of hits, some of which have already made their way into some pretty cool places!

* War Tapes’ will be performing two songs live in the Jun 15th episode of “Greek” (the #1 show on ABC Family)
