Ok, I realize I’m all blog-a-rama today, but I’m getting other stuff done too, I swear! It’s just that the emails keep streamin into my inbox lately, wow.

An Horse is a band that I’ve had my eye on lately. I first heard them on It All Started With Carbon Monoxide, and loved it straight off. It’s got the sound that is literally music to my ears: reverb, discord, a little bit of grind in the guitar, crashing cymbals, and that female vocal that’s not all little-girly-cuteness. Love. At. First. Listen. Agnes knows her Australian shit, and she picked this band up from the beginning.

So here, listen to it. And after I go see them on the 15th, you’ll get an album and gig review. I have a sneaky suspicion they’ll live up to my expectations. They’ll be on their way to SXSW, so catch them there, my darlings! …. oh, and you might have heard this song on a Mercedes CLC ad on TV…
